The election fever had already gripped Andhra Pradesh. The alleged fake votes issue is now a big topic. The row started with Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu alleging that there are fake votes in the state. Having said that he also urged the people in the state to check if their votes are there if the votes are missed then they can apply for the same.

The allegations made by Chandrababu Naidu caught everyone's attention as the elections are due. Moreover, the major parties in the state are confident of coming to power and defeating the other parties.

With Chandrababu Naidu making allegations about the alleged fake votes issue in the state, Cabinet Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy hit back at him and said that lakhs of bogus votes were registered in Andhra Pradesh during the TDP regime.

YSRCP minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy alleged that 60 lakh votes are registered in the state when the TDP was in power. Adding further, the Cabinet Minister alleged that thousands of fake votes are identified in the Kuppam constituency alone and the votes would be even more.

Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy went on to say that the TDP brought up the issue to light so that the issue can be diverted. He also said that it was the TDP that started registering the fake votes in the state and to divert the issue, the party is making such allegations.

The senior Minister made the comments addressing the press in Kuppam, the Assembly seat represented by Chandrababu. He has been touring the constituency for the past few days. As part of the same, he held the press meet.
