Directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Sridevi Movies, this 1991 marvel has been remastered in 4K with enhanced 5.1 sound.
Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad believes that the enduring appeal of 'Aditya 369' is going to draw the audience in. At a time when Balakrishna's popularity and image are at an all-time high, the re-release is going to make it big. He extended his gratitude to the late SP Balasubrahmanyam. Prasad also acknowledged Balakrishna's memorable performance in dual roles in 'Aditya 369'.
Singeetam Srinivasa Rao's directorial brilliance, Ilaiyaraaja's timeless music, Jandhyala's witty and occasionally profound dialogues, and the combined mastery of cinematographers PC Sreeram, VSR Swamy, and Kabir Lal contributed to its timeless appeal. Adding to its allure were Bollywood stalwarts Amrish Puri and Tinnu Anand. Chandra Mohan as Tenali Ramakrishna, Suthi Velu as Police Constable, Silk Smitha as Simha Nandani and others are part of the cast.
Prasad underscored the unique experience of watching 'Aditya 369' on the big screen, now amplified by digital enhancements. He considers this film a pivotal moment in his career, cementing Sridevi Movies' legacy in Telugu cinema. "We strongly believe that this movie will once again be embraced by audiences and repeat Balayya Babu’s hit history," he added.
While Balakrishna is in full form with back-to-back hits, he announced Aditya 369's sequel on cards. As for Sridevi Movies, it awaits the release of Sarangapani Jathakam on April 18th.
