Boyapati repeats crazy combo with Balayya again for Akhanda 2

Some collaborations just refuse to fade, and in Telugu cinema, Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s pairing is one such example. The duo is back together for Akhanda 2, a film that already has fans fired up without a single frame released.

After scoring big with Simha, Legend, and Akhanda, this combo is now aiming for another knockout. The film is being produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus, with Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini joining the crew as co-producer. Despite talk of delays, Boyapati has cleared the air Akhanda 2 is on track for a Dussehra release on September 25.

There’s also strong talk about veteran actress Vijayashanti being approached for a key part. Her earlier pairing with Balakrishna worked well on screen, and after her recent role in Vyjayanthi, the team seems keen to tap into that familiar spark again.

Not much has been revealed about the story yet, but the announcement itself has sparked excitement among Balayya’s fans. Given how well Akhanda connected with the audience, the follow-up is expected to carry the same intensity maybe even push it further.
