While working on the film Vettaiyan, Anirudh revealed that his team used AI technology to recreate the voice of legendary singer Malaysia Vasudevan. The experiment received wide attention and showed how technology can bring back iconic voices in a respectful way.

Now, according to Anirudh, AI has become even more advanced within just one year. He explained that today he can sing a single line and use AI to transform it into multiple female voices, even changing pitch and tone. He said it is now possible to create the effect of 100 women singing in different pitches using this technology.

He believes this is only the beginning. “It’s an early bird,” he said, meaning AI is still in its starting stage. However, he is confident that in the future, everyone in the music industry will start using it in some form.

Anirudh’s comments highlight how fast technology is changing cinema and music. As AI tools continue to grow, they may soon become a regular part of film production and sound design across industries.
