The troubles around the film increased after it landed in theaters. Several objections were raised due to various issues like the alleged wrong portrayal of characters and the dialogues the characters uttered.
Even the Seers from the temple city of Ayodhya raised objections over the film and even sought a ban on the film. They have demanded the government to ban the film saying that the sentiments were hurt and they are not happy with this.
Compared to others, the Dialogues in the film are getting severe criticism. Recently, the Hindi version writer issued an apology saying that the dialogues will be changed and the changes will reflect in a week. Now it's the turn of makers to issue an apology.
Ramayana is sacred in not just India. Nepal also sees the epic as sacred and people there believe that Sita Mata was born there and she is the daughter of the nation. They won't compromise on this. The dialogue in Adipurush made Nepal angry and the film was also banned there.

With this, the makers issued an apology saying that there is no intention or deliberate nature to hurt anyone and urged the Mayor to see the film in artistic form and support the intention of the film to reach larger audiences.
With makers issuing an apology, we have to see whether the ban on Adipurush will be lifted. In the letter, T-series said that the dialogue was written to talk about the dignity of women in Bharat and they did not refer to the birthplace of Janaki.
