Tamil Popular stars and current huge actors with great stardom, Ajith and Vijay, are no aliens to fans wars. But their fans keep taking it to the next level with each passing day. The actors had to advice them against it several times, still the fans do not seem to budge or listen in any case.
Ajith's Pongal hit film, Veeram released in 2014, debuted with 18.1 TRPs, higher than popular films like Kabali, Aramm, Karuppan and Mersal.
The films secured 11.7, 11.0, 10.5 and 8.0, respectively which is way lesser than 18.1 TRP ratings.
Now, the second run of Veeram secured 9, while Vijay TV Awards secured 10. Fans of Ajith are claiming that the movie secured even more in a bid to say that Ajith is so popular that he rules the TV industry too.
This seems to be a bit out-of-line for the fans. Films secure some huge grosses and first day records but still they end up as disasters due to the amounts involved before release.
Similarly, TRPs are secured due to the popularity and availability of a channel and also, the timing of telecast. So, showing the ratings we can prove nothing but our insecurity to show how great we are! Hope, fans understand that.
