Box-Office: 222 Crores For Star Hero's Film

Owing to the fact that his fans like to see him in mass roles, Kollywood star hero Thala Ajith is only taking up mass action entertainer films and is scoring superhit films at the box office.
It is known that he recently collaborated with director Siva for 'Viswasam' movie which hit the screens for Sankranthi. The movie came out as their fourth collaboration after 'Veeram', 'Vedalam', 'Vivegam'. 'Viswasam' received an average response on an opening day and some of the audience were disappointed with the routine mass masala story of the film. However, as it is the holiday season, the movie ruled the theatres and made a gross of 200 crores. The collections reached 222 crores. Ajith fans are extremely happy and are sharing the same on social media. Only in Tamilnadu itself, the film has made of gross collections of 160 crores.
'Petta' also clashed with 'Viswasam' movie during Sankranthi. As the movie also got a mixed response, the Tamil audience showed more interest in watching 'Viswasam'. When compared to 'Petta' 'Viswasam' earned 50 crores more.
