Vivekam: Old Wine In A New Bottle

There has been so much hungama surrounding Ajith's latest Tamil film 'Vivegam', it has been released in Telugu as 'Vivekam'. It is known that the movie release has got postponed several times. Even though it has got superb craze in Tamil, some how the movie didn't get the hype in Telugu. Most of the Telugu audience didn't even know the release date of 'Vivekam'.

Ajith is a crazy hero in Tamil and the movie has done huge pre-release business but the buyers are said to be worried as per the talk. Telugu version of the film didn't do business as expected. Everybody knows the reason.. almost all Ajith films turned out to be flops in Telugu. On the other hand, the makers were claiming that the movie is made with a huge budget but they have proved their claims to be wrong with the trailer. There is a talk in the trade circles that the makers have not spent huge money on the film as they are claiming.

Director Siva is known for huge action sequences in his films and he has applied the same formula for 'Vivegam' as well. Except for action sequences, there is no other aspect the producers could have spend huge money. On the other hand, the CG work appears to be outdated.. and it is the biggest disadvantage for the film. Apart from all these things, the movie got disaster talk.

Even though opening collections will be good, the buyers are said to be worried that theaters will be emptied after three days due to the negative talk. The opening collections will be good in only Tamil but not in Telugu.. because he doesn't have a market in Telugu. So, we have to wait and see how Ajith is going to save the buyers.
