Akhil's Agent: Thaman Walks Out, Talented Music Composer Walks In

Agent happens to be the costliest project in Akhil Akkineni's career. The project was officially announced earlier this year and it hit the floors last month. The unit recently shot a few action blocks in Krishnapatnam port backdrop and then returned to Hyderabad, where the second schedule will be taking place, The forthcoming schedule will be a crucial one as well. A chunk of the film's talkie portion will be shot in this schedule and Akhil, Sakshi, and the rest of the lead cast will be taking part in the same. However, the latest reports suggest that Thaman, who was initially roped in to compose the music for Agent has walked out of the project. He is not associated with the project anymore.
It is heard that Thaman who is currently busy with several A-lister projects like Godfather, Akhanda, RC15, Ghani, and others is unable to allot time for Akhil's Agent. Citing his busy schedule, Thaman has opted out of the project. The makers were slightly taken aback by this decision but they were quick to react and came up with a backup plan. Following Thaman's exclusion from the principal crew, the makers immediately got in touch with talented music composer, Hip-hop Tamizha, and bought him on board for the project. Tamizha and Surender Reddy have taken part in a couple of music sittings and he has started composing the tunes for the Akhil starrer. The composition will commence shortly.
Surender Reddy, who was impressed with Hip-hop Tamizha's work for his previous project, Dhruva, an action drama starring Ram Charan, insisted on bringing him on board for the Agent and he managed to do the same. Hip-hop Tamizha liked the script narrated by Surender Reddy and he readily came on board for the project. His inclusion in the film's core crew will be made public in the next few weeks.
Agent has Akhil and Sakshi Vaidya in the lead roles. There are rumors that the makers are in talks with Malayalam superstars Mammootty, and Fahadh Faasil for important roles in Agent. But these are yet to come on board. More details about the project will be out in the days to come.
