Akhil Not Learning Anything From His Dad's Recent Failure!

Akkineni heroes are not what they are used to be previously. They do not have a huge market like other heroes and it is a fact. While they still have a good craze, their hit movies do not get more collections than what other big heroes' average movies get. Akhil got his first hit after trying since 2015 and Naga Chaitanya's previous couple of films ended up being big failures. Also, it has been a very long time since Nagarjuna scored a hit.
Nagarjuna arrived with 'The Ghost' during the Dasara season and competed with Chiru's 'Godfather'. 'The Ghost' is not a bad film at all but it could take the limelight away from Megastar's film. Due to this, the movie ended up as a huge failure. The senior Akkineni hero had to learn that getting into the competition is not a good idea at all in the hard way. But it looks like his son Akhil is making the same mistake.
On the occasion of Diwali, the makers of Akhil's 'Agent' announced that the film will be coming out during the Sankranti season. As we know, Nandamuri Balakrishna will be arriving with 'Veera Simha Reddy' in the Sankranti season while Megastar will be releasing his 'Waltair Veerayya' during the same season. While Prabhas' pan-Indian film 'Adipurush' is hitting the screens on 12th January 2023. Vijay's 'Varasudu' will be hitting the screens during the Pongal season too.

With four big movies already ready to compete with each other, many are claiming that it is not a wise move for Akhil to release his 'Agent' during the Sankranti season.
