Agent happens to be the costliest project in Akhil Akkineni's career. The project is being mounted on a budget of around Rs 40 crores. Surender Reddy is said to have come up with an action-packed subject for Akhil.

Several action blocks in Agent will be shot in picturesque locales in Budapest, a city where several Hollywood blockbusters were previously shot at.
Akhil, and the rest of the unit will be heading to Budapest soon after Surender Reddy is done with the location scouting process.
Akhil has built a beefed up look for the film and he will be seen as a special agents officer in the Surender Reddy directorial. Newcomer Sakshi Vaidya plays the female lead in the film.
