Nandamuri Balakrishna is a senior star hero in Telugu film industry with an immense mass following. In the long career spanning more than four decades, Balayya acted in a wide variety of films. You name anything.. social.. mythology.. folk, he excelled in it. There is a general opinion that Balayya acts in routine films but he has done wide experimentation in his career with films like 'Aditya 369'.. 'Bhairava Dweepam' etc.
No one will believe that a huge star like Balayya acts in cursed ugly man role 'Bhairava Dweepam'. But he did it with grace. Balayya is getting ready for the release of his latest film 'Paisa Vasool' in the direction of Puri Jagannadh. He is busy promoting the film now. When he was asked to name his top 5 favourite films of his career in a recent interview, he revealed that Gautamiputra Satakarni, Srirama Rajyam, Samara Simha Reddy, Rowdy Inspector and Tatamma Kala.. are his top 5 favourite films.
It is known that 'Tatamma Kala'(1974) starring legendary NTR is the debut film of Balakrishna. Surprisingly films like 'Aditya 369' didn't find a place in his top 5 list.
