Nandamuri Balakrishna is getting ready for the biopic Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. As NTR is a legendary Telugu personality, Balayya didn't want to compromise with the biopic. Balayya handed over the direction responsibility to Krish after Teja walked out of the project.
It is known that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is recently agreed to play Basavatarakam role in the biopic. She was reluctant to accept the role initially but Balayya was adamant to cast Vidya Balan for Basavatarakam role. He felt that she would do justice to his mother role. An interesting update came out regarding the Vidya Balan now. As Balayya wanted to sign her at any cost, he paid a personal visit to Vidya Balan's home in Mumbai.
Vidya's flat is located in Juhu area. When Balayya went there to meet Vidya Balan a few days ago, she was surprised with Balayya's warm gesture. Balayya reportedly had a-2 hour meeting with her. He explained the importance of her role in the film and specially requested to do the role. She was bowled by Balayya's courtesy and she gave her nod for Basavatarakam role.
