Balakrishna's first Hundred crore Film Akhanda

After that he sticked more or less to similar style of stories and that hampered his career. His films got trolled left-right and centre but the actor sticked to the style he believes in.
Boyapati Srinu understood what works on Balakrishna better than any other filmmaker. He proved it thrice now. The director ended decade long disastrous run for the actor with Simha.
Later gave Legend. Balakrishna did find great success with Krish's Gautamiputra Satakarni but the film did not reach Baahubali or Sye Raa box office highs.
Now, with Akhanda Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna combination entered 100 crores gross club. The movie is the first Commercial film released by a star after almost one and half year long wait.
This helped the film to collect huge and even though it got average talk, families also went to the theatres to watch a big star hero on screen. Movie collected Rs. 100 crores gross with 26 crores from Nizam and 50 crores gross from Andhra Pradesh areas.
Rest of the world collections amount to Rs. 25 crores. This makes up for the film's total collections. Looks like only Boyapati Srinu can understand and present Balakrishna in the style that people want to see him.
