Did This Film Really Complete 50 Days?

The same question is trending across different social media platforms. People are trying hard to figure out how on this film.

Normally, films like Arjun Reddy, Fidaa, Baahubali, that became massive hits, in this day and age, promote themselves with 50 days and 100 days posters and not many have doubts for them having such run.

These days, even a hit film like MCA doesn't have a run of 4 weeks at the theatres and there are many reasons for that.

Longevity of a film has become a big question now. Then, how come a Sankranti film, Jai Simha that did not manage to get great talk, stay so long in theatres? That too, when there is a theatre strike on it's 50th day.

Technically, its run has ended by 49 days only. The movie did manage to collect well, due to holidays and made a marginal profit.

But it did not become such a big hit that a poster like this is acceptable by all. Anyways, we congratulate the team for coming out of a dull Sankranthi season with a break-even film.

Jai Simha starred Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nayantara, Prakash Raj as leads and K.S. Ravi Kumar directed the film. C.Kalyan bankrolled it.
