I don't believe stuff like six pack: Balayya

There was a time when audience used to think of Bollywood heroes whenever someone talks about six packs..chiselled physiques. But the situation has completely changed in Tollywood now. Several Telugu heroes appeared in six pack avatar in the recent past. Everybody knows how Prabhas and Rana transformed themselves for Bahubali. But Balakrishna did not make such attempts even though he did a historical film like 'GautamiPutra Satakarni'.
In a latest interview, Balayya was asked the same question.. Why didn't you appear in the six pack look sir?.. Balakrishna came up with an interesting answer for this. He said that he doesn't believe in such things.
He said that "Fitness is important to me..in my opinion. We should be healthy. We should have stamina to work for long hours. I don't belive stuff like six pack. People laugh at me, if I try to transform myself now. In my opinion, It is not our culture to grow excessive muscles and appear with bare bodies. People like us when we are normal".
When he was asked another question.. How did he pre prepare for Satakarni role... Balayya said that "We got less information on Satakarni. Even the details were not so clear in the script. But I have discussed several things with the director.. imagined things like body language and did this role. I got instant energy from somewhere, when Krish narrated this role to me. I entered the character immediatly. I never looked back".
