32.5 cr paisa vasool needed to become a hit

The much-awaited combination of Puri Jagannadh and Nandamuri Balakrishna finally happened with Paisa Vasool. Ever since the movie has been announced, the expectations on this are sky high. After the trailer release, the expectation got hiked even more. The trailer is hinting that Puri showed Balayya in a whole new look. Though the director is facing downfall in his career with flop movies, fans are hoping that Paisa Vasool will bring back Puri into the track.
Paisa Vasool made a grand worldwide release today on September 1st. The film should gross the minimum collections of Rs. 32 crores to stand as a hit. The movie rights were sold for Rs.3 crores in Vizag, Rs.2.2 crores in East, Rs. 2 crores in Krishna, Rs. 2 crores in West, Rs. 3.6 crores in Guntur, Rs. 1.3 crores in Nellore, the Costa rights got sold for Rs. 14.1 crores, Rs. 6 crores in Ceeded, Rs. 8 crores in Nizam and Rs. 50 lakhs in other areas which summed up to Rs. 32.5 crores.
On the other side as the producer has already got Rs. 9.5 crores in the form of satellite rights, and bagged Rs. 4 crores with Dubbing and other rights he is almost in the safe zone.
However, the movie must make Rs.32.5 crores at the box-office to mark itself as a hit. As the film is coming after the huge success of Balayya's Gautami Putra Satakarni, Paisa Vasool is also expected to become a super hit.
