FlashBack: Balayya Babu Is Still Studying! -Sr. NTR

Entire Tollywood celebrated Darsaka Ratna Dasari Narayana Rao birth anniversary yesterday on a grand scale. Celebrities paid rich tributes to Dasari on the occasion and Dasari statue unveiled at the Film Chamber. Senior actors Superstar Krishna, Vijay Nirmala, Murali Mohan, Nandamuri Balakrishna attended the event.
Remembering his relationship with Dasari, Krishna said that he knows Dasari even before he became a director. He said that Dasari worked as an assistant director for 'Maa Nanna Nirdoshi' movie. He said that Dasari penned dialogues for 'Menakodalu', 'Devanthakudu' movies. Krishna said that Dasari directed many of his films. Krishna lauded Dasari that he created a Guinness Record by directing 150 films and nobody can break that record in future
Balakrishna also remembered Dasari saying that he was a straightforward man and he stood for justice always. Balakrishna expressed his happiness that he acted in Dasari's 150th film 'Parama Veera Chakra'. Balayya added "My father used to say 'walk in your path.. success will come to you'.. Dasari belongs to that league." Balayya also revealed that Dasari wanted to introduce him as a hero with 'Sivaranjani' movie but his father politely rejected the offer saying that "Balayya Babu is still studying."
Unlike the other speakers, Murali Mohan shared a funny incident that happened in Chennai. He said that "Dasari used to be awake till 2.. 3 am in the early morning. NTR used to wake up at that time. Considering their timings, one day NTR said -We don't need Gurkhas for their street. When I was sleeping Dasari garu will be awake. When he goes to sleep I will wake up."
