There are not many Telugu directors who established their supremacy in Bollywood. Legends like Raghavendra Rao and Murali Mohan Rao directed a few Hindi movies but did not make a big mark. Only Ram Gopal Varma managed to shake things in Bollywood and stay relevant for a really long time. The pool of talent he introduced in the Hindi film industry showcases the value of this filmmaker. He gave super hits as a director and produced movies too. Other Telugu directors who tried their luck in Bollywood failed to create an image for themselves.
But young director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is showing a lot of promise. After creating a huge impact all over the nation with 'Arjun Reddy', he went to Bollywood in order to remake the same film as 'Kabir Singh' in Hindi. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead, this movie collected nearly 300 crores and turned into a huge blockbuster despite stirring a huge debate regarding the toxic lead character.
Bhushan Kumar who is regarded as one of the top producers in Bollywood bankrolled this project. The movie ended up in huge profits and the T-Series head is in no mood to leave Sandeep Reddy Vanga anytime soon. He has already produced another movie with Sandeep titled 'Animal'. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, this action drama will be coming out on 11th August. The shooting has been wrapped up recently.
As we know, Vanga announced his next project with Prabhas and the movie is titled 'Spirit'. Bhushan Kumar is the producer for this pan-Indian film as well. Not stopping there, T-series officials recently took to Twitter and announced another crazy project under Sandeep Reddy Vanga's direction in their banner. It is going to be with Icon Star Allu Arjun. This will be Bhushan Kumar's fourth film with the 'Arjun Reddy' director.
Looks like this Bollywood bigshot is not letting Sandeep Reddy have a peek at Tollywood. If these movies managed to succeed, Vanga is sure to become a star director in Hindi without a doubt. Let us wait and see what happens.
