The sources in Telugu Film Industry have always been pointing out at Balakrishna being a more mellowed man after the debacle of NTR Kathanayakudu and also, the political scenario change has made him a bit circumspect, it seems.
He used to give flamboyant speeches making tall claims but he showcased restraint at recent political meetings and even came with a prepared speech at Republic Day, event.
The actor made sure that he isn't becoming the laughing stock which he did not mind before. He even negotiated on a friendly terms with Distributors of NTR Mahanayakudu, it seems.
As the situation looks tough, he even cut down on Boyapati Srinu's next film with him, budget it seems. He is producing the film on NBK Films and decided to keep a check on the lavish budget quoted by the director, it seems.
He asked him to work from his own office NBK films and also cut the estimate to under 50 crores from 70 crores, it seems.
Their last film, Legend even though became a hit, it only collected close to 36 crores at box office and NBK's biggest hit, Gautamiputra Satakarni collected only 48 crores with tax exemption from both states.
As Boyapati himself showed that he has a fan following and market, he thought 50 crores is a recoverable budget, it seems. Well, TFI people are amazed at these decisions of NBK.
