Ending months of suspense, Telugu Desam Party founder late N.T. Rama Raos son and hero Nandamuri Balakrishna has decided to take the plunge into electoral politics. He will contest from Hindupur in Anantapur district, a constituency that was represented by his father in the past.
Balayya name announced in third list of candidates and here is the pic of Baalayya where he was receiving the B form from his Brother-in-law Chandrababu.Balayya will be filing his papers of nominations on April 16 and the local leaders of Hindupur Telugu Desam Party have all set ready for Balakrishnas nomination
The leaders met collectively under the chairmanship of Abdul Ghani, a Telugu Desam Party MLA on Monday to look into the arrangements for the same. According to sources a mammoth rally was planned.
Hindupur is the safest seat for the party, which it has never lost ever since its inception in 1983.Balayya father legendary NTR was elected from the 1985, 1989 and 1994. Thereafter, NTR's third son N. Harikrishna, was elected in the by election for the Hindupur seat in 1996 following NTR's death.
