Chandini Exposes Social Media Scammers!

Telugu actress Chandini Chowdary who shot to fame with short films has gained a lot of popularity during the lockdown with 'Color Photo'. This emotional love story won a lot of accolades and received awards including a National Award. The actress went on to act in movies and web series like 'Sammathame', 'Super Over', 'Bombhat', 'Unheard', 'Jhansi' and others.
She recently took to her Instagram handle and shared a few screenshots explaining how she became a victim of social media harassment. She wrote, "For past few months a lot of international numbers have been running a scam using pictures and names of mine and my colleagues' on whatsapp using it to impersonate and get information, contact detais and other private information and harassment."
She shared a few other screenshots as well which said, "I strongly urge and request everyone to report such advances and never share any private details or any details at all if such clowns approach you." This is not the first time a celebrity has been subjected to social media harassment and their name being used to exploit others. This is one of the cons of social media and everyone needs to be more cautious and stop believing every message from unknown people.
