Does Valimai movie qualify to be called a "copy"?

Valimai starring Ajith Kumar and Huma Qureshi with Karthikeya released on 24th February. Movie took a huge opening in Tamil Nadu and had good opening in Telugu states also for the first day. The movie did not get positive talk from Telugu audiences as much as expected.
With Bheemlanayak taking over on Friday, the movie's second day, Valimai failed to sustain in Telugu states. Ajith's strong forts in Tamil Nadu performed well even on second day even though the drop is massive.
As the February month is not considered as a big season for movie releases, Valimai could recover costs if movie holds on better during Mahashivratri holiday and second weekend.
Well, H. Vinoth kind of a director who delivered good films like Sathuranga Vettai, Dheeran Adhikaram Ondru/Khakhi, Nerkonda Parvaai - Pink remake in Tamil Cinema with Ajith, couldn't really deliver a massive action family entertainer with Valimai.
Action portions worked but sentiment portions did not. Movie makers trimmed 10-15 minutes from the third day and majorly sentiment portions have been cut.
For action part, some of the viewers are saying that director copied from Jackie Chan's film, "New Police Story". The trailer for the Jackie Chan movie is present on YouTube and stunts seem to be similar.
We can qualify this as 'inspiration'. Many films, Indian action films have repeated sequences from Jackie Chan films before too. Even Hollywood makers hire Asian stunt choreographers and coordinators to repeat similar stunts in their films. Looks like Valimai team followed the same pattern.
