Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who shot to super fame with consecutive hits is now struggling to score a hit. It's been a long time since Kangana roared at the box office. All her much-awaited films, including high-ticket Dhaakad ended up as duds damaging her star status.
To put an end to her dry run at the box office, Kangana Ranaut has opted for a period drama and she is playing the titular role in the upcoming film besides helming the project. As her directorial debut, Kangana chose Emergency, which traces the events around one of the dark periods in India, when an emergency was imposed by the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana Ranaut is playing Indira Gandhi in the biopic and he stepped into the role with ease.
