Fans Wars in Social Media have become quite common in Kollywood. Nothing wrong about Fans showing unconditional love towards the Favourite Stars. But, Indulging in mud-slinging activity only to spread negative word about other Stars is unacceptable. The situation in Kollywood continues to remain unpleasant every time a new update about Ajith and Vijay's new releases has been released.

In the beginning of this year, Ajith's 'Yennai Arindhal' teaser received record hits in Youtube. Few months ago, Vijay's 'Puli' attained a phenomenal 75 lakh hits and entered record books as the only Indian promo with 1 lakh likes. It was then Vijay Fans trended the hashtag degrading Ajith Fans and it ended up as a Twitter war.

Again, Ajith's Vedhalam teaser was unveiled just few days after the release of disastrous 'Puli'. Due to overwhelming response, The promo managed 10 lakh hits in just 18 hours and emerge as No.1 in the country with 1 lakh likes in just a day. In a counter move, Vijay Fans deliberately made the teaser receive over 35,000 dislikes. So, The war between fans of Top Stars continues...!
