Dangal changed the lives of many young actors in the movie, mainly Fatima Sana Sheikh who played the role of Geeta Phoghat. Dangal has become the most successful Indian Cinema ever in Overseas and highest grosser ever beating Baahubali2 collections just on the back of Chinese box office.
Now, after being in such a famous film and playing the iconic role, it is expected that Fatima will be recognized by many and it is apparent with her following on social media. But that popularity has given rise to a new controversy for the model turned actress. She got a chance to act with Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in YRF period film, Thugs of Hindustan and also the actress got a chance to unveil her other side, sensuous at that to the world.
As any model would normally, she took it and that attracted few religious people to condemn her. As she wore a bikini for the shoot and released the pics, some person commented, " In such a divine month, how could you post such photographs being a muslim girl." While Sana kept het silence on the issue, many others came to her support and this gave rise to a big discussion regarding the month of Ramzan and religious beliefs attached to it. Many of them also sarcastically commented on the person as well, asking him how did you see such photograph in a divine month as well.
