Balakrishna starrer 'Lion' ended as a failure. The only positive aspect here would be managing a share much better than any of the Nandamuri Hero's flop films in the past decade.
Inspite of having a good subject in hand, Director Satya Deva wasn't successful in delivering a power-packed entertainer. Critics feel an experienced filmmaker with good track record could have done wonders with such a story.
Neverthless, A share of nearly Rs 17 crore will certainly boost the pre-release business of Balakrishna's 99th & 100th as they are going to happen with good combinations (Srivaas-Kona-Gopimohan & Boyapati Seenu).
