'May' Sentiment Worrying Mahesh Fans!

Following sentiments are quite common in the film industry. As we all know, superstar Mahesh Babu has a sentiment of missing the opening ceremonies of his films. He never attends the opening/ pooja ceremony of his movies and sends his wife Namratha instead. Much like their hero, fans of Mahesh Babu also believe in a few sentiments.
One such sentiment is worrying the fans a lot now. It is aware that superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming action entertainer 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is gearing up to hit the screens on 12th May. While it is a perfect release date considering the other releases, fans are a bit tense about releasing the film in May as this month did not work well for Mahesh in the past.
Previously, Mahesh Babu's 'Brahmotsavam' was released on 20th May 2016. It was his biggest disaster till date and even fans couldn't sit through the entire movie. It ended up as a nightmare. Back in 2004, Mahesh's 'Nani' came out on 14th May. Though Mahesh's acting was lauded, this film which was directed by SJ Suriya turned us into a huge flop.
In the same manner, 'Nizam' was released on May 23rd, 2003 and it was a big commercial failure despite Mahesh receiving a Nandi award for his performance. It was directed by Teja and it was Mahesh's immediate film after a blockbuster like 'Okkadu'. Despite these three films, Mahesh's 25th movie 'Maharshi' came out on 9th May in 2019 and earned more than 100 crores. It was a good hit and received a couple of National Awards too. But it is not a fan favourite.
We need to wait and see what happens with 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' now. This film is directed by Parasuram who made hits like 'Solo' and 'Geetha Govindham' in the past. This film is produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainments banners. Madhie who worked on movies like 'Srimanthudu', 'Mirchi' and 'Saaho' is the cinematographer while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. Thaman composed the music and the first two songs 'Kalaavathi' and 'Penny' got a huge response. Star heroine Keerthy Suresh will be seen romancing Mahesh in this project.
After 'SVP', Mahesh will be teaming up with his 'Athadu' and 'Khaleja' director Trivikram Srinivas after this project. Haarika & Hassine Creations will be bankrolling this movie while Pooja Hegde is the heroine. Thaman will be composing the music once again.
