NO, Balakrishna Wasn't The First Choice!

Although 'Kalki' hadn't met the expectations, Prashanth Varma left a mark of his own with on this investigative crime thriller. A lot of people wondered whether if Rajasekhar was the first choice to play the lead role or not after watching the movie.
When quizzed about it, Prashanth Varma clarified: 'Actually, The subject choose both of us. When we thought of working together, This subject came to us and everything fell in place as we both liked it'.
To the question who would be his choice had if Rajasekhar turned down 'Kalki', The Filmmaker told he can't think about any other hero as he already completed it with the Angry Star. He, however, is pretty sure that 'Kalki' would have been made differently had if some other hero featured in it.
