'NTR Mahanayakudu' had a disastrous start at the Box Office. Day 1 Distributors Share of this prestigious biopic in the Telugu States is just Rs 1.59 crore. This opening is far less than what 'Parama Veera Chakra' and 'Sri Rama Rajyam' managed to get.
Sankranthi release 'NTR Kathanayakudu' managed to collect a share of Rs 7.61 crore in the Telugu States. This itself is a reflection of lack of acceptance from people for Part 2 which highlights the role played by Chandrababu Naidu in the political career of NTR.
Not even rentals have been recovered by most of the Exhibitors who screened 'NTR Mahanayakudu' on First Day. Shocking response caused major embarrassment to the Makers of NTR Biopic.
