All the star directors in Tollywood are charging a remuneration more than Rs.10 crore. Puri Jagannadh has reached this mark long back. Even though he is struggling with flops these days.. his remuneration was never low.
Puri's last film is 'Rogue'. There is a talk that Puri has received Rs.17 crore remuneration. This amount includes his remuneration.. transport..Puri Connects casting. Puri is presently working on Balayya 101st film. Puri has agreed to do the film in the form of a package. The producers said to have allotted Rs.35 crore budget for the film. Balayya's Rs.10 crore remuneration includes in this package.
It is interesting that how much Puri spends on the production of the film. He may not get Rs.17 crore as he received for 'Rogue' but he may get his remuneration anywhere between Rs. 10-12 crore as per the talk. Puri makes sure that the production cost is less.. because he picturizes most of the songs in original locations except one or two.. he uses very few set properties for fights. If we consider the recent track record, Rs.10 crore remuneration is very high.. that's why everybody call him a talented guy.
