Pushpa Takes The Box Office By Storm On Day

Icon star Allu Arjun's latest offering 'Pushpa - The Rise' might have got mixed response from the audience but we witnessed a carnival like experience at the theatres. People flocked to watch this film and there were Houseful boards in front of many theatres on its first day. The collections from Day1 are out and they look staggering to say that least. The team of 'Pushpa' officially announced that it got a gross of 71 crores worldwide. They termed it was '2021 India's Biggest Grosser'.
'Pushpa' collected over 11 crores share just in the Nizam region and it is reportedly an all time record. None of the trade pundits predicted that 'Pushpa' will be getting this level of money that too after the post-pandemic era. This news is very encouraging to the Telugu industry people. Apart from Nizam, the film garnered over a share of 13 crores from Andhra Pradesh which makes a total of above 24 crores share in the Telugu states alone. While Allu Arjun proved his stamina in Andhra region despite all the restrictions, people are guessing what would've been the amount of collections if there were no hurdles.
While 'Pushpa' crossed over half a million with premiers in the overseas market, it reached nearly 1 million by the end of the first day. The film needs to collect over 2.5 million to reach the breakeven stage. The makers are ecstatic to know that the Tamil version collected 4 crores and Malayalam and Kannada versions fetched over 1 crore collections despite the delay.
Trade pundits reveal that the North Indian audience welcomed the film in a grand manner as it got over 3 crores and achieving this much without any publicity is surely wonderful. The film's unit are very happy and they are hoping that it would continue in the coming days too.
Fahad Fasil is playing a key role in this movie while it also consists of noted actors like Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Anasuya and many others. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for this huge project.
