People's Star R Narayana Murthy claims 'Head Constable Venkatramaiah' is a tribute to the Police Department.
R Narayana Murthy: 'Some say R Narayana Murthy is clashing with Chiru & Balayya during Sankranthi season. There is no need for comparison. He is Megastar..He is Yuvaratna..I am People's Star. Each of us have a path of our own. When I asked the Producer did we receive any theaters, He told me that not even a single theater has been offered. It pains me a lot. This situation araised because of the lease system. Just few people are controlling the theaters. Where is scope for competition when you don't have theaters for release? Success or Failure is in no one's hands. People should decide it. Government, Producer's Council, Theaters have the responsibility to offer theaters for any film registered with Film Chamber. I appeal everyone to offer at least 1 theater per every village. We don't need hundreds of theaters. Industry is for all not for the sake of few individuals'.
About 'Head Constable Venkatramaiah': 'Money is affecting Human Relations. What happens if there is no currency? Director has narrated this point to me one year ago. Demonetisation happened only in November'.
Budget: 'Never been before my film was made with this kind of a budget. I warned Director-cum-Producer about my failures in the past decade but he is adamant. This is for the first time I have been in Sankranti race. During the launch itself, Director declared the release date. I wholeheartedly thank him'.
