Rajamouli Going Big For RRR By Arriving In 3D IMAX
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Dec 2021 11:12 AM GMTRajamouli is undoubtedly the biggest filmmaker in the country right now. He is pushing the horizons of Indian cinema with each of his movies. After creating a sensation with the 'Baahubali' franchise, he is all set to arrive with 'RRR' on 7th January. Though 'Baahubali' is a grand film which made everyone awestruck, it wasn't released in 3D.
Seems like Rajamouli is taking things to another level for 'RRR'. As we know, the trailer came out today and it has blown away the minds of everyone. The grandeur and emotional content displayed in 'RRR' has struck the right chord with the audience. At the last of all the goosebumps moments, the makers officially announced that 'RRR' will be released in 3D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX. This news has been kept under wraps till date and fans are very excited about this update. Watching such a high-budget film in these formats will surely give a separate visual experience to everyone. This sweet surprise has made everyone wait for 7th January 2022 even more. The press meet regarding the trailer has been organized in Mumbai and the entire team barring Ram Charan were at the event.
'RRR' is a fictional drama set in the backdrop of pre-Independence times. A few well-known Hollywood actors are brought in to play key roles while Hindi action hero Ajay Devgn plays a key role. Olivia Morris is the heroine for NTR while Alia Bhatt will be seen romancing Charan. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Charan amazed everyone with his fierce portrayal of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju. KK Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Kotagiri Venkateswar Rao is editing 'RRR'. Saby Cyril is the production designer while Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer while Sai Madhav Burra has penned the Telugu dialogues for this pan-Indian film.
The film is going to face tough competition in the Telugu market as Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' and Prabhas' 'Radhe Shyam' will be released during the same festive season. While many say that both these films will move their release dates, we need to wait and see how the 'RRR' team handles the situation.
