Rajinikanth Smashes Baahubali Record

With a huge budget of around 500 crores, Super Star Rajinikanth starrer 2.O is creating a huge hype all over India now. This awaited sequel of the super hit film Robo is directed by Shankar. Lyca Productions have not compromised in the making of the movie and are promoting it aggressively in all parts of the country.
As the film is gearing up to hit the screens worldwide on November 29, the trade pundits are keen on looking at the film's records. Even before the release, the film has now opened the records book by beating the prestigious film Baahubali: The Conclusion
So far, Baahubali 2 is enjoying the record of having a huge release in India in around 6500 screens. Robo 2 is now releasing in and around 6600 to 6800 screens of which 4000 to 4100 screens are in the North Indian belt, 1200-1250 screens in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, 600 and 625 in Tamilnadu, 500 to 525 screens in Kerala and 300 screens in Karnataka.
If recent reports are believed to be true, the movie already earned 120 crore rupees from the advance bookings. Amy Jackson is playing the leading lady. Akshay Kumar is playing the lead antagonist in the movie.
