Shocker!! Sultan fails to beat Baahubali

At a time when everyone is waiting to see if Salman Khan's Sultan will break First Day records of Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning, here's a stunner.
Baahubali: The Beginning has collected whopping ₹ 45 Cr nett on Day 1, while Sultan has to wrap the day with ₹ 36.54 Cr nett on Day 1. Though Sultan has released in 4300+ screens, the target is not achieved, thus surprising trade circuits. Many say that Baahubali released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi on Day 1 and Telugu version alone collected ₹ 30 Cr approximately on release day. So releasing in multiple languages would have helped Sultan.
Looking at these figures, it's now a doubt whether Sultan will beat Baahubali at least in full-run or not.
