Tammareddy Says- Balayya Is Great

Senior filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja is known for his no-nonsense talk. He expresses his opinions on any topic in a frank way. He never praises others unnecessarily for the namesake. He has recently participated in a programme conducted by comedian Ali. He made interesting comments during the programme.
It is interesting to note that Tammareddy showered praises on the senior Nandamuri star Balakrishna. While speaking about Chiranjeevi he said that they used to share a good friendship when Chiru was an ordinary hero.. they used to stay in a single room. But Tammareddy said that gap increased between them after Chiru became Megastar.
While speaking about Balayya, he said that he doesn't have much relationship with him. He said that he came to know about Balayya when Telugu Cinema Platinum Jubilee Celebrations were conducted. He said that he was given the responsibility of celebrations committee and he used to take care of rehearsals of the heroes.
He said that many heroes used to show attitude during the rehearsals but Balayya behaved in a dignified manner. He said "Balayya used to come early in the morning.. he never used to object if others are practicing on the stage. When I went to convince him regarding the waiting time.. he used to tell me 'I came on your invitation. My call sheet time will be until evening. Whenever you tell me I will do the rehearsals." I was wondered with his humility. I never thought that a big star like Balayya would behave in such a dignified manner. I've heard several things about Balayya that he is very tempered etc. But he behaved in completely contrasting manner. That is his greatness. My respect has increased for him since then."
