Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is venturing into various businesses lately and one of them is the production of films. He floated his own banner named 'Dhoni Enteratinments' and will be producing films dominantly in South Indian languages. Apart from being a producer, there are strong reports that he is going to be seen on the silver screen soon.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has made a mark for himself with super hits like 'Khaidi', 'Master' and 'Vikram'. He is currently working with Thalapathy Vijay once again and Lokesh is reportedly keen on bringing Dhoni onboard for his project. Apparently, the 'Vikram' director found a perfect role for the cricketer in his upcoming movie with Vijay.
While it is just a rumor as of now, the prospect of people getting to see Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Dhoni in a single frame is making everyone go crazy. Let us wait and see whether it becomes a reality or ends up as a mere rumor.
Currently, Dhoni is not part of the Indian cricket team as he announced his retirement from all formats of International cricket in 2020. He is still the captain of the super successful Indian Premiere League team Chennai Super Kings. He is the most successful captain in Indian cricket history and is hailed as the best finisher by many. The biopic of MS Dhoni came out back in 2016 which had the late Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead.
