Thalapathy's Master To Hit The Big Screens On January 13?

Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Master has been in the news for a few months now. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the much-awaited films in south India.
Recently, the makers of the film have revealed that Master will be hitting the screens for Pongal 2021. According to latest reports, the team has locked January 13 as the release date. However, an official statement regarding the same is yet to be out.
As per reports, Tamil Nadu Theater Association's leader has announced that the film will be released on January 13 ahead of the Sankranthi holidays. The reports also reveal that Vijay met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy to request him to relax the norms of theatre capacity by increasing the audience capacity to 100 percent in theatres. It is a known fact that theatres are being operated with only 50 per cent sitting capacity.
Master stars Vijay Dethupathi as the antagonist. The film also Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in important roles. Produced by XB Film Creators, it has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
