Three generations for 'Baahubali'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 May 2017 6:45 AM GMTSS Rajamouli and his team are receiving praise from all the corners for their undeniably monumental effort and success in creating Baahubali. The movie franchise has toppled all the existing records and has set up new records within 11 days of its release. The movie is still going strong at the box office by earning 80 to 100 crores, gross per day, worldwide.
For such a mammoth effort, Rajamouli needed some extra help from his family members as he single handedly, can not complete the entire dream. So people belonging to three generations in the family owned up the movie as their baby and helped it in becoming the movie, what we see today.
Shiva Shakti Datta - MM Keeravani - Kaalabhairava
Shiva Shakti Datta wrote Sanskrit lyrics for the songs, Mahismathi Anthem, Sivuni Aana, Dheevara and Mamatala Thalli. His son, Marakatha Mani Keeravani scored the music for the movie and Kaalabhairava assisted him in the task and sang two songs, Oka Pranam and most popular, Dandalayya.
Shiva Shakti Datta - Kalyanaramana - Mayur
Shiva Shakti Datta's younger son, music director Kalyanaramana worked as a audio mixer and balancer for the movie. For both the parts, his contribution enhanced the sound quality of the movie. Mayur, his son dubbed for a small character.
Vijayendra Prasad - Rajamouli - SS Karthikeya
Vijayendra Prasad, father of Rajamouli is the key for the director to make any movie as he provides him with the story and necessary inspiration. Baahubali thought has come in his mind and shaped up with Rajamouli's imagination. Karthikeya worked as second unit director for the movie and also looked after production works. He shot many scenes of Rana and war episode as well.
Koduri Ramakrishna - Koduri Raja
Ramakrishna is the second brother of Shiva Shakti Datta and he used to accompany his elder brothers for writing earlier as Datta brothers. For Baahubali he wrote a song and his son, Koduri Raja worked as Visual effects artists through Radaan.
Sisters Duo - Rama Rajamouli and Sri Valli
Both the sisters who married Rajamouli and Keeravani worked as costume designer and line producer, respectively for the movie. Much has been already said about them and their contribution so we do not want to reiterate that here.
So, if Manam is the movie that Akkineni's three generations have worked on, then Baahubali is the movie that three generations of SS Rajamouli's family has worked on.
