Unstoppable Overseas Record For 'Veera Simha Reddy'!

The Sankranti season for Tollywood is all set to begin in the next few hours. The overseas premiers of Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Veera Simha Reddy' will begin soon and there is a massive hype on this project. With Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna clashing with each other during the same weekend, things heated up even more.
Balakrishna's film is all set to hit the marquee on 12th January and the trailer was highly impressive with heavy dose of action and emotions. Trade pundits reveal that the 'Veera Simha Reddy' got $505,330 from 287 locations while Megastar's 'Veerayya' earned just $398,160 from 274 locations.
The advance bookings of 'Veera Simha Reddy' crossed half a million dollars already and it is the highest grosser in Balakrishna's career. His previous bests were 'NTR – Kathanayakudu', 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni', 'Akhanda' and 'Paisa Vasool' which minted $473k, $375k, $331k and $137k.
Hope the movie reaches all the expectations. Shruti Hassan is the heroine in this movie which is directed by Gopichand Malineni. This is the third film in the combination of Shruti and Gopichand combination. Thaman composed the music while Duniya Vijay will be seen as the villain. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role while there are a lot of well known actors and technicians in this film.
Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film, while acclaimed writer Sai Madhav Burra has provided dialogues. Chandu Ravipati is the executive producer for the film. Ram-Lakshman duo and Venkat are the fight masters. Rishi Punjabi is taking care of the cinematography, while National Award-Winning craftsman Navin Nooli is handling editing and AS Prakash is the production designer.
