'Rowdy' hero Vijay Devarakonda's maiden production venture 'Meeku Maatrame Cheptha' is releasing on November 1st with decent expectations. The pre-release event of the film happened yesterday night and Vijay gave an emotional and heart-touching speech that gave away some interesting snippets about his early days.
Vijay recalled the days when he was struggling to find his foot in the film industry and thanked everyone who gave him the opportunities and made him what he is today. He said that his dad wanted him to work under Puri Jagannadh as an assistant director as he is the only one who pays his assistants correctly. He added that he feared going near a star director like Puri and dropped that idea.
Now, the same Vijay Devarakonda is going to work as a hero in Puri Jagannadh's next film 'Fighter'. Puri, who was present at the event said that he made ready a kick-ass script and cannot wait to work with Vijay. This film may go on floors soon and it will be produced by Puri and Charmee Kaur. Film lovers are expecting a complete youthful mass flick from this combination.
