By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Feb 2022 10:17 AM GMTYoung and handsome hero Karthikeya Gummukonda made a perfect debut with 'RX100'. He got a lot of craze after this flick but he failed to score another big hit till date. None of the films he acted in the recent past worked out and it is taking a huge toll on his career. He tried playing the bad guy's role in Nani's 'Gang Leader' which did not work out.
He is all set to please the Tamil audience as an antagonist in star hero Ajith's 'Valimai' which is hitting the marquee on 24th February. The pre-release event was held on Tuesday and Karthikeya opened up about his marriage life. He said, "Life after marriage is good but there are some new responsibilities. Except that, there are no big differences in life as I know her for a really long time."
He added, "My wife's family treated me as a kid before the marriage but I am getting tread as a man nowadays. Life is smooth as of now as no fights happened yet. All is well for now."
Karthikeya revealed that he practiced bike riding for 'Valimai' though he knew riding for a long time. As we know, Karthikeya will be seen as a rider in this movie made on a high budget.
He said, "Bike riding has been a part of all my films. I got this chance due to 'RX100'. I practised riding before three days of the shoot as it is very necessary. Ajith sir is a professional racer and his suggestions helped me a lot."
Apparently, he seemed to have developed a liking for race bikes while shooting for 'Valimai' and stated that he may buy one soon. Karthikeya opened up about the possibility of working on OTT platform too. He said that he received a few offers but nothing excited him.
Star music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is the provider of tunes for this movie while Nirav Shah is the cinematographer. Kadhir is the art director while Vijay Velakutty is the editor. Written and directed by H Vinoth, 'Valimai' is produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor.
