SS Rajamouli’s upcoming big event at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad is already creating buzz, and Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra is also expected to attend. After RRR grabbed global attention and even bagged an Oscar for Naatu Naatu, fans have been waiting for Baahubali to get its moment, and it seems that time has finally come.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda confirmed that the World of Baahubali is moving into Phase II. First up is Baahubali: The Epic, a single recut version combining both original parts. Alongside that, a teaser for Baahubali: The Eternal War, an animated project, was released online and quickly went viral. People everywhere, India, US, Europe, have been raving about the visuals and storytelling. The scale of the animation, which is rare for Indian cinema, has genuinely surprised fans.
Earlier projects like Mahavatar Narsimha made a small impact, but Baahubali: The Eternal War is reaching thousands of viewers worldwide. The excitement online shows that there’s a huge appetite for well-made Indian animation that can compete internationally.
The film is directed by award-winning Ishan Shukla and presented by SS Rajamouli, with Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni producing. Music comes from M.M. Keeravaani, and the voice cast includes Prabhas as Amarendra Baahubali and Ramya Krishna as Sivagami. With the kind of global attention it’s already getting, Baahubali: The Eternal War could finally put Indian animation on the map, giving fans everywhere a reason to cheer.
