Baahubali Epic OTT Date And Platform Finally Confirmed
Hotstar will stream the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. The Hindi cut, though? That one is heading to Netflix.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 25 Nov 2025 11:52 PM ISTSS Rajamouli, Supestar Prabhas, and Rana Daggubati popped up in a small interaction video before the Baahubali Epic releases in the theatre, and fans were honestly thrilled just watching them chat again. And yeah, Baahubali: The Epic didn’t disappoint in its re-release run. It opened loud, slowed down later, but still pulled in around ₹52 crore worldwide. Pretty crazy for a film that people have watched a million times already.
This special cut brought both parts back together, and once again it reminded everyone why Baahubali became such a huge moment in Indian cinema. Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah, Rajamouli’s world-building, everything still hits. The re-release even became the highest-grossing re-release in India, which honestly says a lot about how strong this fandom still is.
And now the big question, the OTT release. People kept asking when and where it’s dropping, and now it’s finally clear. Since the original digital rights were with Hotstar, this new version is also going there. Hotstar will stream the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. The Hindi cut, though? That one is heading to Netflix. And if things go as planned, the streaming starts in the first week of December. So, not a long wait.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli is busy cooking up his next giant project in Varanasi, which is right now in controversy as the title is already registered by another production house. We have to see what the output is going to be.
