No Stopping 'Baby' In 3rd Week Too!

Many thought that 'Baby' connected well with the youth which makes it go on for a week or ten days in theatres at the most. But the film manages to surpass everyone's expectations as it is doing well in its third week too. In two weeks, the film got a gross of 70 crores and wowed everyone. This week, Pawan Kalyan and SDT's 'BRO' arrived in theatres along with Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' in Hindi. Last week releases like 'Oppenheimer' and 'Barbie' are still running in a lot of multiplexes.

Due to all this, the theatre count for 'Baby' got reduced but the occupancy is quite full. There were full houses at many screens on Saturday and Sunday. 'Baby' has become the second choice for people after 'BRO' this weekend. Small film 'Slum Dog Husband' did not make a big impact and Ranveer-Alia's film did not impress the audience a lot. This made 'Baby' the best option after 'BRO'.

A lot of multiplexes and single screens had houseful boards for 'BRO' and the overflow worked in favor of 'Baby' as well. With no big releases this week and movies like 'Bholaa Shankar' and 'Jailer' arriving on the 11th and 10th of August respectively, 'Baby' is expected to get steady collections in the next week as well. If the movie continues to perform in the same manner, it may soon reach the 100 crores mark which will be quite astonishing.
