Balakrishna Locks NBK111 Launch this Dasara?

Nandamuri Balakrishna, the unstoppable mass hero of Telugu cinema, has completed the shooting of Akhanda 2. While there was confusion for weeks about when the film would be released, the latest buzz puts an end to it. Akhanda 2 is now set for a December 5th release, with the makers planning to make it official very soon. Fans are already calling it a festive dhamaka, as Balayya is returning once again in his powerful style.

Even before the release, Balakrishna has moved on to his next project with director Gopichand Malineni. This will be their second film after the superhit Veerasimha Reddy, and expectations are naturally sky-high. The untitled film, referred to as NBK111, will have Balakrishna in a dual role, which itself has doubled the hype. The film’s official launch is scheduled for October 2nd, perfectly timed with the Dasara season.

The team is now busy finalizing the cast, and discussions are on with a few top actresses. Rockstar Thaman, who shares a strong hit streak with Balayya, will once again compose both the songs and the background score. The production house Vriddhi Cinemas, led by Venkata Satish Kilaru, is mounting this project on a massive scale, aiming for a Dasara 2026 release. Industry talk suggests that the film will be packed with elevated scenes, punchy dialogues, and solid action episodes.

Apart from this, Balakrishna has also locked another project with director Krish. Both films are expected to go on floors this year, making it a very busy schedule for the senior star. With two powerful films lined up and a blockbuster sequel ready for release, Balakrishna is proving yet again why his craze never fades.
