Dada Title Glimpse: Balakrishna’s High-Voltage Show

Christmas is set to get a heavy dose of mass entertainment as Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film with Gopichand Malineni has been titled Dada. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the makers have accompanied the title announcement with a powerful glimpse that not only introduces Balakrishna’s character but also confirms the movie’s arrival in theatres on December 24.

Balakrishna gets a completely mass-oriented makeover. The poster shows him with sunglasses, leather jacket and thick gold chain which immediately establish his attitude, while the weapon resting on his shoulder gives him a menacing edge.

The glimpse is designed as a high voltage showcase for Balakrishna, while also introducing his new tag, King Of Chaos. A boss warns his rowdy gang to stay away from the protagonist, referring to him as Sher. The protagonist then makes a powerful mass entry, setting the tone for what follows. The later episodes show his intense confrontation with the police, where he delivers a fiery warning on what it really takes to shoot him.

Balakrishna’s stylish appearance, his intense screen presence and mass dialogue will offer goosebumps. Gopichand Malineni is clearly aiming for maximum theatrical impact. S Thaman’s music gives the glimpse considerable energy.
