Talk: Balakrishna Gives Sankranthi Offer To Producers

For big stars like Nandamuri Balakrishna, even if a film doesn’t work out, there will be many producers in the pipeline because they know the strength of this mass action star. After the flop show of Akhanda 2 at the Box Office, Balakrishna has moved to his next outing, which happens to be a Gopichand Malineni directorial. After a lot of budget cuts, right now this film went to sets and might hit screens on Dasara eve.

Latest update coming from Film Circles says that Balakrishna has laid a special ‘Sankranthi offer’ to the producers who are approaching him for his 112th film, the one after Malineni’s movie. As Balakrishna wants his next film to be released for Sankranthi 2027, he’s asking his producers to bring directors who can make that happen.

While Mythri Movie Makers has already locked Balakrishna for Vivek Athreya's directorial, this will be a two-part movie that needs extensive pre-production and a huge amount of time to take off. That’s the reason Naga Vamsi is trying for Balakrishna’s dates again after Daaku Maharaj, for a subject narrated by Harish Shankar, but the hero asked to change the second half of the film, as per reports. If Ustaad Bhagat Singh clicks, this project will take off immediately.

Then comes producer Dil Raju, who has been trying to get Balakrishna’s dates for a long time, but currently they are on the lookout for a right director and story. We have to see which producer will help Balakrishna realise his Sankranthi choice by bringing the right story.
