Whenever a senior hero's movie is released, it often leads to the postponement of other Tollywood films, but this does not apply to Tamil dubbed releases in Tollywood.
We all know that "Jailer" and "Bhola Shankar" were released on the same weekend, and "Jailer" significantly outperformed "Bhola Shankar" from start to finish at the box office. Due to negative word of mouth, "Bhola Shankar" suffered a heavy impact, and "Jailer" collected more and even doubled "Bhola Shankar" in most areas of the Telugu states. A similar situation is now occurring for Balakrishna, as his film is being affected by a dubbed movie on its first day.
The opening of "Bhagavanth Kesari" is being influenced by "Leo," which is gaining a lot of popularity. To attract the audience more than "Leo," "Bhagavanth Kesari" now needs strong word of mouth. Even in mass centers where Balakrishna is known to have a strong fan following, his film is facing competition from "Leo." Currently, the opening of "Bhagavanth Kesari" has been impacted, and the overall impact on both films will depend on word of mouth.
It's important to note that both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna have been affected by dubbed films. Despite their large fan followings, the audience always prefers quality content over the typical mix of commercial elements.
Starring Balakrishna and Kajal Agarwal in leading roles, with Sreeleela in a key role, the movie reportedly had a budget of over 100 Crores. Overall, "Bhagavanth Kesari" has done business worth approximately 125 Crores, including all rights.
